Windy Beans! A Video Recipe for French Climbing Beans

Joris shows us what happens to French climbing beans when they get wind damage (still perfectly good to eat, and very yummy), and suggests a very quick & tasty recipe for how to cook them.

Ingredients:

  • French climbing beans
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Garlic
  • Lemon juice
  • Olive oil

Method:

  1. Boil your beans in plenty of salty water for 2-4 minutes until tender
  2. While they boil, chop your tomatoes in half and crush the garlic
  3. Drain the beans, and refresh in cold running water – this will help keep the colour vibrant.
  4. Mix the tomatoes, beans and garlic together
  5. Dress with plenty of olive oil, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a little salt. Check the seasoning and adjust to taste before serving!
