Jane started volunteering at the farm in 2021, joining the staff team in 2023 as a Supported Volunteer Session Worker. In this role, she runs accessible and inclusive volunteer sessions for autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities.
Having trained in Social & Therapeutic Horticulture, Jane is passionate about supporting vulnerable people to reconnect with nature. She facilitates engagement in meaningful farm activities within a positive social environment, helping individuals develop skills and independence while promoting positive well-being.
Working at the farm allows Jane to share her love of nurturing the natural environment and fostering community connections. As an added bonus, she enjoys eating tasty, freshly harvested vegetables!
