Come to Sutton Community Farm’s Summer Open Day on Saturday 1 July from 10am – 4pm to enjoy time on the farm, join a tour, eat delicious food, and take part in farm activities that are fun for all the family
Farm Tours
- Join an engaging, fun and informative tour of the whole farm
- Learn how we grow food, understand key principles in organic horticulture, and appreciate seasonality by seeing what is growing at the start of the summer!
- Best enjoyed by adults and children aged 12 and older
- Eye-spy checklists for younger children
- Each tour is 45 minutes, there are 12 tours scheduled throughout the day
Food & Drink
Different food and drink will be on sale, including:
- Tasty BBQ veg and halloumi wraps
- Salad bar, with a choice of three veg salads
- Cakes and sweet treats baked by farm volunteers
- Hot and cold soft drinks
- Card payments and cash accepted

- Wildflower seed sowing ceremony
- Farm games: sack racing and tug o’ war
- Farm shop stall to buy the best of the season, and find out how to become a farm customer
- Meet farm volunteers and staff, find out how to become a volunteer
- Enjoy time relaxing on our lovely farm on a lovely summer’s day
