Come to Sutton Community Farm for our Spring Open Day on Saturday 18th May, from 11.30am – 3.30pm.
We will open our doors to the public and invite everyone to take a look around the farm to see what’s growing and what we’ve got planned for the year ahead. There will be:
- Hourly tours of the farm, on the hour at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm
- A chance to walk around (independently of catching an official tour)
- Volunteering opportunities for people wishing to get stuck in to some hands-on farm work on the day
- A selection of cakes and soft drinks available for purchase (no other food will be available)
- An opportunity to find out more about our VegBox scheme
- An opportunity to find out more about how to get involved in the farm through volunteering, school trips and Team Challenge Days for organisations
- An opportunity to find out more about becoming a member shareholder of the farm
- A chance to meet some of the staff team and volunteers of the farm
This event is free to attend, but you need to book a ticket in advance. Children are welcome to attend.
We encourage people to travel to us on foot, by bicycle or on public transport. If coming by car please note there will be no parking on the farm, so drivers will need to park on Woodmansterne Lane instead.
All attendees should enter the farm through our entrance on Woodmansterne Lane – the gate is in the hedge directly across the road from Flitton’s Plant Nursery (SM6 0SW). Our entrance on Telegraph Track will be closed.
Any questions about the event please email info@suttoncommunityfarm.org.uk
We look forward to welcoming you to our lovely farm!
