THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULLY BOOKED – PLEASE EMAIL SONIA TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITING LIST (sonia@suttoncommunityfarm.org.uk)
Come to Sutton Community Farm for a free practical workshop making our favourite rhubarb and elderflower jam. This is a seasonal delight – as there’s only a short spell each year where each of these ingredients exist and overlap (and it’s happening right now!)
This workshop will take place at the farm on Wednesday 29th May from 5pm – 7pm, and it’s a first come first served booking system whereby you need to email Sonia to confirm your place (sonia@suttoncommunityfarm.org.uk). All farm volunteers and members of the public are welcome – but spaces are limited 🙂
If you can’t make the workshop we encourage you to get picking and experimenting! Elderflowers are dreamy cloudbursts and are found on elder trees all over, and rhubarb stalks offer complementary seasonal tartness – so enjoy them while you can!
