Sutton Community Farm’s Harvest Celebration is happening on Saturday 11th September from 10am – 7pm, and it will be fun for all the family!
Join us to celebrate this year’s veg harvest, explore our new fruit and flower areas, see our new barn, meet members of our community, eat tasty food, enjoy activities, and delight in being on our lovely community veg farm in Wallington, Sutton.
Our Harvest Celebration will have:
- Timed farm tours with a member of staff, learning about food growing and biodiversity on the farm
- Pizza from a wood-fired oven, freshly made seasonal salads, tasty BBQ veg, and cake available for purchase, plus various drinks
- Activities for both adults and kids: harvesting, treasure hunts, sack-racing
- Pick-Your-Own Flowers
- Collaborative art opportunities led by local artists
- Live Music
- A chance to spend time relaxing on site with outdoor seating
- Find out how to get involved: volunteering / VegBoxes / membership
- Meet staff and volunteers who are the heart of the farm
In order to manage the flow of attendees we are selling tickets for timed tours with a member of staff. A tour ticket also includes general admission – you are welcome to spend time on the farm on either side of your tour. If you don’t want to attend a tour we are also selling some General Admission tickets for either the morning 11am – 3pm or afternoon 3pm – 7pm.
Tickets are £5 (free for under 12s). We are also offering discounted tickets (£2) for those on lower incomes – see our FAQs below for more info.
Car parking is limited, so please consider coming by public transport, bicycle or on foot if you can.
Limited parking will be available on the farm (from Telegraph Track), with further parking on Woodmansterne Lane (SM6 0SW).
The pedestrian entrance to the farm is in the hedge opposite Flitton’s Plant Nursery on Woodmansterne Lane.
