Matthew has been involved in the farm since 2018. He first started volunteering with his autistic son Joseph, helping with a variety of farm tasks on Mondays. Matthew was then hired as a farm delivery driver, and he and Joseph work together out on the roads on Fridays.
Matthew gets to the farm early on a Friday, loads the van, then drives via his house to collect Joseph. Joseph assists with the route and keeps Matthew on track, helping to carry the customer bags for each delivery which saves Matthew’s back from aching.
