Our VegBox Scheme delivers fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables to the community each week. Orders are placed online in advance for delivery the following week. We stock other organic produce, such as bread and eggs from local suppliers, and some items from further afield.
Here are some frequently asked questions but do contact us if you have further queries.
How does my order support the farm?
Our farm is an inclusive, welcoming space for the community to learn new skills, get exercise and make friends. We are passionate about sustainable agriculture, supporting land-based employment and education. We have two apprentices, 35 weekly volunteers and regular groups from schools, disability colleges, vulnerable adults who are referred to us, and community services. Our farm relies heavily on the income from our not-for-profit VegBox Scheme to support it financially.
When will I receive my order?
Our order deadline is midnight each Sunday. You will receive your order the following Thursday or Friday.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, the minimum order is £10.45 – the same price as our smallest VegBox.
When and where do you deliver?
We deliver to both homes and pick-up points on Thursdays and Fridays. See where we deliver for more information.
There is a £1.50 charge for home deliveries, a £1.00 charge if we deliver your order to a pick-up point but no charge if you collect from the farm. The map below shows the pick-up points that we currently deliver to. If you have an idea for a new pick-up point, please contact us.

What’s in a typical VegBox?
Visit our Farm Shop to get an idea of sizes and a link to our weekly box contents. This calendar gives you a feel for what items to expect at different times of the year. Visit our home page for weekly recipe inspiration and our recipe bank.
Where do the vegetables come from?
We grow as much produce on our 7.1 acre farm as possible and to keep a good variety of vegetables in our boxes, we source from other local producers too. We work with Brockmans Farm and Ripple Farm Organics amongst others.
What if I’m going on holiday or need to cancel for a week?
Please let us know by midnight on the Sunday before your delivery. You can cancel upcoming orders easily on your online account. Your payments will be suspended for the period you are away.
Can I make a one-off order?
A small community farm such as ours needs to build a loyal, regular customer base. This provides us with security and helps to support our community activities. We offer a range of frequencies including weekly, fortnightly and every three weeks. As a customer you will have a rolling order which can be amended or cancelled on a weekly basis.
How do I pay?
Our secure billing system is handled by GoCardless and we have been working with them for over three years. It works like a direct debit and you are only charged for the weeks that you receive a delivery. You will be asked for your bank account details when you set up your first order.
