We’re looking for Buddy Volunteers!

Would you like to become a Buddy Volunteer and help support our community volunteering days at Sutton Community Farm?

Our next Buddy Training session with be Friday, 29th July 2016 from 10am to 4pm. We are delighted to be working with one of our dedicated volunteers Martin Faiers, who has lots of experience in training and supporting volunteers. Please see below for more about Martin.

The aim of our Buddy Volunteering programme is to help us maintain a supportive, welcoming and safe space at the farm. As a Buddy, you will play an important role in supporting fellow volunteers.

This opportunity is especially exciting if you are interested in supporting volunteers who have mental health issues and/or learning disabilities. Buddies help run practical activities and are available to volunteers who need extra guidance or help with settling in and getting to know the farm.

We have lots more information about Buddy Volunteering on our website here. Please read this through and if you are interested fill in this short application form and please email charlotte@suttoncommunityfarm.org.uk once you have completed it. Any questions, please get in touch.
