Sutton Community Farm exists thanks to the involvement and efforts of many different groups of people.
- Farm Staff Team – Currently there are 11 farm staff working at the farm, either on the VegBox team or the Growing Team, or overseeing Communications, Finance, or Farm Business Management
- Driving Team – We have a team of delivery drivers who are employed to deliver all the food we sell via our online shop
- Management Committee – Our Management Committee has responsibility for the ongoing success of the farm, and is made up of individuals with relevant expertise who commit to volunteering on the Committee for 3 year terms
- Volunteers – A significant amount of the work done at the farm is carried out by teams of volunteers who get involved in a wide range of tasks and activities
- Shareholder Members – The farm is owned by our shareholder members, of which there are currently more than 450
Our Legal Structure
The farm is a Community Benefit Society (CBS), which is a form of co-op that exists for the benefit of the wider community. Our Shareholder Members legally own the farm, and the land that the farm is on is owned by Surrey County Council.
