Management Committee Recruitment – March 2022
This is an exciting opportunity for two people to join the farm’s Management Committee. Our Management Committee has responsibility for the ongoing success of the farm, and is made up of individuals with relevant expertise who commit to volunteering on the Committee for 3 year terms
We’re looking for people with either experience in community engagement or marketing and communication, to become part of a warm, welcoming and knowledgeable team in a farm community, which is committed to sustainable, inclusive, local food production.
In line with our society rules, these are an unpaid, volunteer roles.
We are specifically looking for people with the following skills:
- Secretary and Community Engagement – have an interest in community ownership, with experience of inclusive and active governance. For example, we would like to engage our shareholder members more effectively, with particular focus on our Annual Members Meeting (AMM). The Secretary responsibilities involve taking minutes at the AMM and being a signatory on accounts and paperwork
or
- Marketing and Communications – expertise in branding and communications, alongside direct marketing and customer acquisition. Experience of working with small budgets and limited resources, with a particular focus on running marketing campaigns. Knowledge of digital marketing is desirable.
