Nick started working for the farm in March 2018 as the Growing Trainee. He loved working at the farm so much he’s been on the Growing Team ever since – and as of January 2022 he became one of the farm’s Heads of Production.
Nick is responsible for overseeing all areas of crop production and farm infrastructure. He works with teams of volunteers growing veg and improving the farm through handy DIY activities. Nick is also working on an agroforestry project to bring many apple trees to the farm, and is overseeing our organic certification application process.
Nick enjoys napping under the walnut tree and looking wistfully out over the fields as a gentle breeze dances through the tall rye grass. His favourite vegetable is squash.
