Neil Michels

Neil is an architect with ten years experience of working with a range of public and charity clients to design and deliver public buildings. Neil has delivered new buildings such as a Welcome Pavilion for Waddesdon Manor, a National Trust property, where he was responsible for the design, tender and managing construction of this building.

Working on projects such as this has given Neil extensive experience in how charitable and public organisations can successfully manage construction projects through all stages of the design and construction to deliver buildings that not only meet budget and time requirements but are also inspiring and enjoyed by those that use them. This experience will be invaluable in delivering a practical, comfortable, community barn for the farm.

Neil also has a keen interest in ethical farming and local food production which he is keen to further learn about at the farm.

Neil was co-opted to the management committee by the other committee members in January 2019, and elected by the members at the 2019 AMM. In accordance with the Rules, as an elected member, Neil’s term of office ends at the conclusion of his third AMM which will be in 2022.
